Mita Carriman is the Founder & CEO of Adventurely (backed by Techstars, Google & Backstage Capital): a digital members club with on-demand access to coworking day passes across hotels, restaurants, cowork studios & 3rd spaces worldwide.
Originally an IP & Business attorney from New York City- Mita built an independent law practice before taking her work on the road. What began as a one month experiment working remotely from South America became an eight year journey of her working remotely across over 20 countries throughout Latin America, Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, and Africa. That experience shaped her perspective on the future of work and inspired her to become an entrepreneur and leading advocate for flexible work and location independent entrepreneurship.
Mita and her work leading Adventurely has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Fast Company & many other top media publications.
She was named a top 50 remote work expert by remote.com; a Digital Nomad Ambassador to the City of Dubrovnik Croatia; a top 10 digital nomad to follow by the Tourism Board of Dominica; and 1 of 16 women inspiring international travel by Buzzfeed.
She’s extremely proud of her Caribbean heritage from Jamaica & Grenada, and is a dual Citizen of the U.S. & Grenada.
In 2025 she Co-Founded Caribbean Venture Collective, which she runs alongside her work with Adventurely, and she also continues to consult a select group of personal legal clients as fractional counsel.
